As a former Law Office Study student myself, I know how difficult it is for underprivileged students balance a home life, employment, and study. That is why our firm is offering several scholarships for current students with a deadline of October 1st. Our team is especially interested in aiding active duty servicemembers and veterans. During my time in the Marine Corps I suffered a severe injury that left me disabled-- and led me to the path of practicing law. From the time of working multiple jobs and reading the law under a judge, I know how hard it can be. And just how rewarding a career in law is.
All participants must be enrolled in an accredited Law Office Study Program or Law School, show a GPA of 3.0 or higher (or show proof of continuous law office study), and veterans must show proof of their honorable discharge.
Our firm is offering three primary scholarships:
- 1st for Military and Veterans Scholarship worth $1,000. This requires the applicant's DD-214 with proof of honorable discharge as well as a 500 word or greater essay about making battle equipment better to prevent brain and spine injuries.
- A renewable scholarship for Paralegal Students worth $750.
- An annual $500 scholarship for current law students. The applicants must write a 500 word or greater essay about improving the image of the personal injury profession.
I have more details of the scholarship here and our past winner here. Our office would be happy to assist with any details, including putting us in touch with some of your students that may be the best for the program.
